COMMONWEALTH DAY 2026

“UNLOCKING OPPORTUNITIES TOGETHER FOR A PROSPEROUS COMMONWEALTH”

 

Today, 9 March 2026 , Malaysia joins all Commonwealth nations in commemorating Commonwealth Day 2026, reaffirming its continued commitment to the principles, values, and the spirit of cooperation that unite our Commonwealth family.

This year’s theme, “Unlocking Opportunities Together for a Prosperous Commonwealth,” sets the tone for stronger cooperation in the Commonwealth with the promise of a better and prosperous future for all, amidst current global challenges.

Malaysia is committed to deepening cooperation with the Commonwealth, in working together to build a more prosperous, inclusive, and resilient Commonwealth, for present and future generations.
