EXPLOSION IN BEIRUT, LEBANON

 

Malaysia is shocked and saddened by the loss of lives and injuries due to the massive explosion in Beirut, Lebanon on 4 August 2020. Malaysia extends its sympathies and deepest condolences to the government and the brotherly people of Lebanon in the aftermath of the tragedy. Malaysia stands ready to support Lebanon in any way possible.

 

Thus far, no Malaysians have been reported to be directly affected by this incident.

 

Malaysians residing in Lebanon are advised to give utmost priority to their personal safety and follow instructions issued by the relevant authorities of Lebanon.
