MALAYSIA STRONGLY CONDEMNS ISRAEL’S ATTACKS ON
THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN
Malaysia strongly condemns the attacks by the Zionist Israeli regime on the Islamic Republic of Iran on 13 June 2025. This attack by Israel is clearly a flagrant violation of international law, including the Charter of the United Nations, and poses a serious threat to international peace and security.
The aggression by Israel was unprovoked and resulted in the death of not only Iranian military personnel but also innocent civilians and caused significant critical damage to infrastructure in several areas in Iran.
Malaysia calls on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to strongly condemn the actions by the Zionist Israeli regime and hold them accountable in accordance with international law, including the Charter of the United Nations.
At this critical juncture, all efforts must be made to prevent further escalation, which could destabilise the region and have far-reaching global implications. In this regard, Malaysia supports the ongoing efforts by the United States and Iran to resume diplomatic dialogue concerning Iran’s nuclear programme.
Malaysia reiterates our consistent position that all parties must uphold international law, and any conflict should be resolved through constructive dialogue and diplomacy in order to achieve a comprehensive and lasting peace.
