EARTHQUAKE IN WEST OF TEHRAN, IRAN

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Malard town in Tehran province, 50 kilometers west of Tehran in Iran at 11.27 P.M. (local time) on 20 December 2017.

So far there have been no reports of Malaysians affected by the earthquake.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its Embassy in Tehran will continue to monitor the situation closely. Malaysians affected by this disaster are advised to contact the Embassy at:
