Dear Sir/Mdm.,
I am currently waiting to legalize a few documents for the use of legal proceedings in Germany. I am made understood that before I bring the documents to the German Embassy office, I am required to get the documents endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also a Notary Public.
I have a few questions regarding this matter, the questions are as follows:
1. When the Notary Public endorses the documents, do I need to get the Notary Public to stamp on the original documents and provide a Notarial Certificate?
2. Is it possible that the Notary Public does not stamp on the front page of these original documents but on the back of it? Will the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accept stamping on the back of the original documents?
*Please understand that by stamping on the front page of these documents, it could affect any further use of such original documents.*
3. After the endorsement at the Notary Public, when I go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office, is the officer at the office going to endorse on the actual original documents but not the Notarial Certificate?
Please if you could advise on the few questions posted above. Appreciate it much.
Thank you very much and I look forward to your reply.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for writing to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
I’d advise you to come walk in to the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs as we will need to look at the documents before we decide to stamp on.
Thank you.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Sub: Transit at KLIA2 on Leisure Travel
The email is regarding a clarification required as to whether a Visa required to transit at Kuala Lumpur airport. I am travelling with my family on Air Asia from Cochin to Singapore and the flight has a connection at KLIA2 Terminal in Malaysia. The flight connection is 2.5 hours and will depart with AirAsia from same terminal – KLIA2. I would like to kindly request you to confirm that a Visa is ”not required” to transit via Malaysia.
Hope you would kindly provide a response at the earliest. Wish you a good day.
Please be informed that visa application is under the purview of the Immigration Department of Malaysia, Ministry of Home Affairs.

I am a Malaysian citizen (Non-Muslim), residing in Malaysia, and I am planning to marry my fiancée (Non-Muslim) who is an Indian citizen, scheduled to be held at Tamil Nadu, India, on 29 May 2017. We will first register our marriage in Tamil Nadu, India, and obtain our Indian marriage certificate.
I was informed by Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN), that I will need to certify my Indian marriage certificate at Bahagian Konsular, Kementerian Luar Negeri Wisma Putra, before proceeding to re-register my marriage at JPN according to the “Re-Registration Of Marriage for Non-Muslim Couples Registered According To The Laws of Foreign Country After 01.03.1982” (as stated at http://www.jpn.gov.my/en/maklumat-perkahwinan/pendaftaran-semula-perkahwinan-bagi-pasangan-bukan-islam-yang-telah-didaftarkan-mengikut-undang-undang-negara-asing-pada-atau-selepas-01-03-1982/)
On the certification of my Indian marriage certificate at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia (Bahagian Konsular, Kementerian Luar Negeri Wisma Putra, Putrajaya):
1) Do husband and/or wife (i.e., newly married applicants) need to be physically present at Wisma Putra to get our Indian marriage certificate verified by Wisma Putra? Or is the presence of my parents (Malaysian citizen) at Wisma Putra to obtain the certification considered sufficient?
2) Do we need prior appointment or do we simply walk-in at Wisma Putra?
3) How long will the certification by Wisma Putra take?
4)What is the list of documents that we need to produce for certification of our Indian marriage certificate by Wisma Putra?
Thank you for your kind reply.
Thank you for writing to us.
1) You don’t need to be present for verification purpose and can ask someone else to come on behalf.
2) You can just walk-in & take the number at the counter for your turn.
3) Normally it will not take long, depends on the number of people who come to the counter that day (Normally the attestation process will take less than half day)
4) You need to bring along the Indian Marriage Certificate which has been certified by High Commissioner of India in Kuala Lumpur.
