His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II of Brunei Darussalam, called on YB Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia at the Institute Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) during his working visit to Malaysia on 26 July 2018.

 

Both Ministers were pleased with the current excellent state of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam and agreed to foster the bilateral relations through exchange of visits between both countries. Both Ministers looked forward to the convening of the upcoming Annual Leaders’ Consultation between the Prime Minister of Malaysia and His Majesty Sultan and the Yang Di-Pertuan Brunei Darussalam which is scheduled to take place end of this year. Both Ministers also discussed bilateral issues as well as exchanged views on regional and global issues that are of common interest to both countries.

 

YB Foreign Minister looked forward to working closely with HE Dato Seri Setia Erywan to further strengthen the bilateral relations between both countries.
