OPERASI SUDAN : TIGA ORANG RAKYAT MALAYSIA DIJANGKA TIBA DI MALAYSIA PADA PAGI 07 MEI 2023

 

Hasil usaha pihak Wisma Putra, Pasukan Khas Operasi Sudan, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Sudan, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Riyadh, Kerajaan Arab Saudi serta beberapa pihak lain, akhirnya tiga orang rakyat Malaysia yang terkandas di Sudan sebelum ini telah selamat tiba dengan kapal tentera laut Kerajaan Arab Saudi, “Amanah” di King Faisal Naval Base, Jeddah, Arab Saudi pada 12.50 tengah malam (waktu Malaysia), 05 Mei 2023.

Ketibaan mereka disambut oleh Pegawai Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Jeddah dan kemudian dibawa ke tempat penginapan yang telah disediakan oleh Kerajaan Arab Saudi.

Ketiga-tiga mereka dijangka akan tiba di tanah air pada jam 05.00 pagi (waktu Malaysia), 07 Mei 2023 melalui pesawat Saudia SV842 yang telah diuruskan sepenuhnya oleh Wisma Putra dan Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Jeddah.

Bagi pihak Kerajaan Malaysia, saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih dan setinggitinggi penghargaan kepada Kerajaan Arab Saudi kerana sekali lagi membantu rakyat Malaysia keluar dari Sudan dan menyediakan fasiliti sepanjang berada di Jeddah. Terima kasih juga kepada semua pihak yang terlibat dalam operasi ini.

Sekali lagi saya ingin sampaikan kepada semua rakyat Malaysia jika ada saudara atau kenalan rakyat Malaysia didapati berada di Sudan, diminta berhubung dengan Wisma Putra untuk kita bantu cari mereka.
