PENAHANAN MAHASISWA MALAYSIA OLEH PIHAK BERKUASA MESIR

 

Saya ingin mengesahkan bahawa seorang mahasiswa Universiti Al Azhar warganegara Malaysia telah ditahan oleh pihak berkuasa Mesir. Susulan penahanan tersebut, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kaherah sedang berhubung rapat dengan pihak berkuasa Mesir untuk mendapatkan makumat lanjut mengenai kes ini.

Kementerian Luar Negeri akan terus memantau perkembangan kes ini menerusi Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kaherah dan akan menghulurkan bantuan konsular yang sewajarnya kepada mahasiswa berkenaan.
