PENYERAHAN MEMORANDUM ISU PALESTIN OLEH PERGERAKAN PEMUDA

UMNO MALAYSIA

 

Petang tadi, saya dikunjungi oleh barisan kepimpinan Pemuda UMNO Malaysia yang diketuai oleh YB Dr. Muhamad Akmal bin Saleh, Ketua Pemuda UMNO Malaysia dan barisan exconya.

Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Malaysia telah menyerahkan memorandum mengenai pendirian mereka yang mengutuk isu serangan Israel terhadap Palestin kepada saya selaku Menteri Luar Negeri. Saya mengambil maklum usul yang dibawa oleh Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Malaysia serta segala cadangan yang diberikan.

Sekali lagi, saya ingin tegaskan di sini bahawa Malaysia sentiasa konsisten dalam memperjuangkan setiap hak rakyat Palestin, berpaksi kepada keadilan dan menentang sebarang isu keganasan serta kekejaman.

Seperti sebelum-sebelum ini, saya juga telah beberapa kali bercakap mengenai isu Palestin termasuk di wawancara bersama dengan pihak Al-Jazeera. Malaysia mengutuk sekeras-kerasnya tindakan tentera Israel yang menyalahi undang-undang dan mencabuli hak asasi manusia Palestin serta mencemar kesucian Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Terima kasih kepada Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Malaysia yang sentiasa cakna dengan isu ini dan diharap pihak antarabangsa dapat merungkai sesuatu penyelesaian mengenai isu yang seperti tiada kesudahan ini.
