PERKEMBANGAN TERKINI BERHUBUNG INSIDEN REMPUHAN 

ITAEWON, REPUBLIK KOREA

 

Kementerian Luar Negeri ingin mengesahkan bahawa sehingga kini, tiada warganegara Malaysia yang dilaporkan terkorban dalam insiden rempuhan di Itaewon, Republik Korea pada hari Sabtu, 29 Oktober 2022.

Terdapat seorang warganegara Malaysia yang dilaporkan cedera telah menerima rawatan sebagai pesakit luar di Hospital Universiti Joogang, Seoul dan kini berada dalam keadaan stabil. Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Seoul telah menghubungi beliau bagi mendapatkan perkembangan terkini. Pihak Kedutaan juga telah menghulurkan bantuan konsular termasuk memudahcara urusan perjalanan kedua-dua ibu dan bapa beliau ke Republik Korea.

Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Seoul akan terus memantau insiden tersebut dan akan memaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini dari semasa ke semasa. Warganegara Malaysia yang terjejas akibat insiden berkenaan dan memerlukan bantuan konsular adalah dinasihatkan untuk berhubung dengan Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Seoul melalui telefon atau e-mel seperti di bawah:
