Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Salam Sejahtera, dan Salam Malaysia MADANI.

 

1.   Alhamdulillah, segala puji bagi Allah S.W.T. yang dengan rahmat dan kurnia-Nya, kita dapat berkumpul di sini pada Majlis Berbuka Puasa MADANI Tahun 2025, anjuran Kementerian Luar Negeri.

 

2.   Bulan Ramadan al-Mubarak adalah bulan yang penuh keberkatan dan peluang untuk kita merenung serta memperbaiki diri.

 

3.   Terdapat banyak pengajaran serta nilai-nilai murni yang dapat kita teladani daripada ibadah puasa. Bukan sekadar menahan diri daripada makan dan minum, malah dalam memupuk disiplin diri yang lebih utuh untuk masa hadapan.

 

4.   Marilah kita bersama-sama berdoa agar bulan Ramadan ini membawa kita ke arah kebaikan, mengukuhkan ukhwah, dan menambah amal ibadah kita.

Your Excellencies, Members of the Diplomatic Corps,

 

Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

6.   On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I am delighted to welcome all of you to Wisma Putra.

 

7.   Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to gather once again for our annual Iftar, a tradition that brings us together in the spirit of reflection, gratitude, and unity.

 

8.   Ramadan is a sacred month that reminds us, of the values of patience, humility, and selflessness.

 

9.   It is a time of renewal, not just for our faith, but also for the bonds between us, as we come together in the spirit of understanding and togetherness.

 

10.   Malaysia is a nation built on diversity, where different cultures and religions co-exist in harmony. The practice of sharing Iftar is a beautiful testament to this, where friends and neighbours from all backgrounds, come together to experience the spirit of Ramadan.

 

11.   This holy month teaches us, that unity is strengthened through shared experiences, and that mutual respect and compassion, are the foundations of a peaceful society.

 

12.   Tonight, we celebrate the values of inclusivity and solidarity that define Malaysia.

 

Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

13.   As the Chair of ASEAN for 2025, Malaysia aspires to set a new standard for global governance, revolving around long-lasting values, of inclusivity, diversity, and future-oriented planning.

 

14.   These are indeed, modelled on Malaysia’s MADANI values and principles.

 

15.   Malaysia is committed to advancing the priorities of ASEAN, with the people at the heart of our efforts.

 

16.   While meetings have been held, across the three pillars of the ASEAN Community over the past few months, we are constantly hard at work, gearing up for even more significant gatherings, in the months ahead.

 

17.   Malaysia values its collaboration with all of our friends and partners, to ensure that our chairmanship continues to strengthen and benefit the people of ASEAN, as well as the broader global community.

 

Your Excellencies, Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

18.   Please allow me to once again express, my gratitude to each and every one of you, for taking the time to be here this evening.

 

19.   I would like to take this opportunity, to wish everyone a blessed Ramadan. May you and your loved ones experience peace, joy, and prosperity during this holy month and beyond.

 

20.   May it also strengthen and deepen, the bonds of friendship and cooperation, that exist between our countries.

 

21.   Kepada Yang Berhormat Perdana Menteri dan dif-dif kehormat yang lain, saya bagi pihak warga Wisma Putra, ingin sekali lagi merakamkan ucapan penghargaan atas kehadiran Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri dan rakan-rakan ke majlis ini.

 

22.   Semoga kita semua mendapat keberkatan dan keredaan Allah S.W.T. hendaknya.
