AMBASSADOR HENDY ASSAN PRESENTED HIS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO H.E. MDM MYRIAM SPITERI DEBONO, PRESIDENT OF MALTA

Ambassador Hendy Assan, had the honour of presenting his credentials as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to the Republic of Malta to Her Excellency Mdm Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, in an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.
The ceremony was also attended by the Secretary to the President, the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade, and officials from the Office of the President.
Following the formal presentation, Ambassador Hendy engaged in a brief discussion with the President. The conversation focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Malaysia and Malta, with both sides exploring opportunities to enhance trade ties and promote people-to-people exchanges especially in tourism and education. They also discussed the significance of the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa for the 57 member countries of the Commonwealth.
The ceremony concluded with Ambassador Hendy signing the visitors' book, followed by his attendance at the ceremonial guard of honour, a traditional highlight of Maltese state ceremonies.
