The Embassies of ASEAN countries with residence in Budapest (Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) commemorated the 50th anniversary of the founding of ASEAN.

The event was hosted by the Indonesian Embassy, Budapest at their Ambassador's Residence.

The Guest of Honour was Mr Szilveszter Bus, Deputy State Secretary of the Opening to the South, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

Also invited were Ambassadors and representatives of ASEAN dialogue partner countries.

After the flag-hoisting ceremony and the remarks delivered by Mr. Szilveszter Bus; the Ambassador of Indonesia; and the Ambassador of the Philippines, guests were invited to an array of buffet comprising dishes.
