Courtesy call by H.E. Henrique Archanjo Ferraro, Ambassador of Brazil to ASEAN, 16 April 2026
PYT Ambassador Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN, received a courtesy call from H.E. Henrique Archanjo Ferraro, Ambassador of Brazil to ASEAN, on 16 April 2026.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on the development of ASEAN-Brazil relations, including Brazil’s ongoing engagement, activities and contributions within the ASEAN framework. Both sides also explored prospects for enhanced cooperation in areas such as combating transnational crime, renewable energy, digital transformation, climate action and sustainable tourism.
During the meeting, the Brazilian side expressed its appreciation to Malaysia for its continued support and guidance, particularly in efforts to further strengthen ASEAN-Brazil relations.
