BIRTH REGISTRATION (MALAYSIAN CITIZEN)
 
Registration of Birth should be done within one year from the date of birth. 
 
Process Time: Two (2) weeks from the date of submission.
 
The Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai provides the service of birth registration for the citizens of Malaysia residing in India. An applicant who intends to register his new born baby at the Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai has to present himself with the baby and provide the following:
 

1.
Duly completed Form D
  • Fees of Rs. 450.00 (Cash) for the Registration Form;
  • Fees of Rs. 37.00 (Cash) for the services of certifying documents; and
  • Fees of Rs. 150.00 (Cash) for issuing Form W

REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE (MALAYSIAN CITIZEN)

The Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai provides the service of marriage registration for the citizens of Malaysia residing in India. An applicant who intends to register his marriage at the office of the Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai has to provide the following:
