52nd NATIONAL DAY CELBRATION IN MUMBAI, 4TH SEPTE,BER 2009
The celebration of the 52nd National Day was modestly held in Mumbai on 4th September 2009. A reception to commemorate the National Day was held at A La Mode in Juhu and was exclusive for the Malaysian community only. The main reception earlier planned had been cancelled due to precautionary measure to curb the spread of swine flu in Mumbai.
Over 100 Malaysian were present at the event, which was started with the National Anthem, speech by the Consul General of Malaysia and the cutting of One Malaysia cake.
