DEPUTY MINISTER OF TOURISM OF MALAYSIA LED TRAVEL MART AND SALES MISSION IN PUNE, MAHARASHTRA
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Hon. Dato’ Dr. James Dawos Mamit led the annually organised travel mart and sales mission to India from 22 February to 3 March 2011. The mission this year was participated by 40 representatives of Malaysian travel industries including travel agencies, hotels, restaurants and team parks.
The first leg of the mission in India was in Pune, the second largest city in Maharashtra. In this city, the Deputy Minister had a dialogue session with the Indian travel Industries representatives such as TAAI and TAFI, officiated a product presentation and presented media briefings and interviews. The mission was intended to woe more tourist from India.
The Consul General in Mumbai Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah was present in all programmes held in Pune on 23 and 24 of February 2011.
