Diwali Celebration, 11 November 2018
The Consulate General of Malaysia organized a get-together for Malaysians residing in Mumbai and the surrounding areas, including students, to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The celebration which was held at the Consulate General on 11 November 2018, was well attended by Malaysian community. During the event, the Consul General took the opportunity to deliver remarks, in which among others, he emphasized the importance of maintaining harmonious relationship among Malaysia’s multi-ethnic and multi-religious society while being far away from homeland. He also gave some updates on the latest developments in Malaysia. The event provided a platform for the Malaysian community to exchange views and share relevant experiences.
