Malaysian Food Festival, 24 November-9 December 2018
The Consul General inaugurated the Malaysian Food Festival at Hyatt Pune on 24 November 2018. In his remarks, the Consul General among others, highlighted that similarities between some aspects of Malaysian and Indian cultures, including in their foods, contribute to close ties among the peoples of the two countries and therefore should be celebrated. The event which will last until 9 December 2018, features authentic Malaysian cuisine prepared by a Malaysian chef brought all the way from Sabah, Malaysia.
