MALAYSIAN SPORT S DAY IN MUMBAI

90 Malaysians took part in the Malaysian Sports Days 2008 organized by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Mumbai on Sunday 2^nd November 2008.

The Malaysian Sport Day in Mumbai was held within the framework of strengthening relations among Malaysian in Mumbai. It was the first of such an event held in Mumbai since the establishment of the Consulate General more than a year ago notwithstanding extremely limited sport facilities and on space in the city.

Several games including bowling, mini netball and mini football were contested during the event. The Malaysian Consul General, Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah  and his wife,  Zuhaila Abdul Latif also participated in the games and presented prizes to the winning teams.

The event was well organized and everyone including children seemed to have won some prizes! The event had received contributions from Malaysian companies and individuals in Mumbai.
