MORE MALAYSIAN FOOD FESTIVAL IN MUMBAI
Another Malaysian food promotion week was successfully held in Mumbai this year. The Hyatt Regency Mumbai organised the Malaysian Food Festival at its restaurant, the Glass House from 4 to 13 November 2008.
The Hyatt had flown in two chefs from its Hyatt Kuantan, Chef. Pari Subramaniam and Chef Mohamad Salleh to prepare various Malaysian delicacies throughout the period of the food festival. Beside various dishes and desserts presented in a buffet style, Chef Pari and Mohamad Salleh were also opening a live stall preparing a variety of roti canai and murtabak.
The Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai, Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah and his wife Zuhaila Abdul Latif and other officials of the Consulate were present at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the opening day of the food festival, where they received by with the Malaysian Chief and the Manager of the Glass House Restaurant.
