As we all strive everyday to make a better living in this busy world that seems to demand a lot more from us as the years go by, we find ourselves more tired with little time left to spend with our beloved family and friends. Family Day has always been the best method to gather Malaysian all over Mumbai and to be united at one common place and be ‘reconnected’. With that in mind, on 29 November 2014, Consulate General of Malaysia in Mumbai organized its first Family Day held in The Club, Andheri.

 

As representative of the Malaysian Government here in Maharashtra, we believe it is important to make a pause in life and spend time with family and friends and stay connected to each other. The turn-up was overwhelming with over 90 participants consist of Malaysian PR, students, officers working with Malaysian / Indian companies based in Maharashtra and along with the special attendance of High Commissioner as part of his working visit to Mumbai. We also had a surprise birthday cake for High Commissioner to celebrate his belated birthday.

 

This event has provide the Consulate valuable information on Malaysian residing / working in Maharashtra (Mumbai) as well as better bonding with our local and international friends. The formula works when all government agencies and private companies comes together and support the event.
