Networking Dinner hosted by The ASEAN Promotional Chapter for Tourism
On 27 August 2015, the ASEAN Promotional Chapter for Tourism (APCT) organised a Networking Dinner held at ITC Grand Hotel here in Mumbai. The ASEAN Promotional Chapter for Tourism (APCT) based in State of Maharashtra is a cooperative regional effort to promote the ASEAN region as one tourist destination where Asian hospitality and cultural diversity are at its best. This year APCT celebrate its 7th anniversary since its inauguration in 2010.
This official networking dinner involves all tourism industry sectors of the 10 member nations of ASEAN. The event was also attended by His Excellency Ambassador of Brunei based in Delhi, Consul General Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Vice Consul General of Vietnam.
During the welcoming remarks, Tourism Malaysia Director mentioned that the core business of APCT is to project ASEAN as an attractive, multi-faceted single destination, create and increase awareness of ASEAN as a highly competitive regional tourist destination in the Asia Pacific and attract more tourists to ASEAN
We believe that with all the ASEAN member nations working hand in hand with public and private sectors, much progress can be made in growing a sustainable tourism industry in the region.
