Round Table Seminar on ‘Doing Business with Malaysia’, 28 February 2019
The Consulate General of Malaysia in Mumbai collaborated with the Indian Chamber of International Business (ICIB) to organize a round table seminar on ‘Doing Business with Malaysia’ in Mumbai on 28 February 2019. After the welcoming remarks by Mr Manpreet Singh, President of ICIB; the Consul General took the floor during which he among others, encouraged the Indian business community to strengthen economic ties with Malaysia. It was followed by presentations by representatives of MATRADE, MIDA, Tourism Malaysia and Malaysian Timber Council as well as ICIB. A Q&A session took place at the end of the seminar that gave the opportunity to the participants to raise any enquiries. Other than the officials of the Consulate General in Mumbai, the seminar was also attended by officials of other Malaysian economic-related agencies stationed in New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore.
