SPECIALIZED MARKETING MISSION FOR AUTOMOTIVE RELATED PRODUCTS IN PUNE MAHARASHTRA, 18-20 NOVEMBER 2009

 

A 20 member delegation from the Malaysian automotive industry visited Pune, Maharashtra from 18 to 20 November 2009 in a Specialized Marketing Mission for automotive related products.

 

The programme of the mission includes briefings on both Malaysian and Indian automotive component sectors, a briefing on doing business in India, individual business meetings and a factory visit to Tata Motors.

 

Vijay Pusalkar, Executive Committee Member of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) delivered the briefing on Indian automotive component Industry while Azalan Omar, Chairman of Technical Committee of Proton Vendors Association made a presentation on Malaysian automotive component industry.

 

The Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai, Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah was present in Pune to welcome the delegation members and other local audiences at the briefing session.

 

Over 50 individual business meetings took place during the mission, which was organized by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) under Malaysia’s economic stimulus package.
