Working Visit by Consul General to College of Veterinary Science, Satara on 20 August 2014
Consul General made a working visit to College of Veterinary Science in Satara on 20 August 2014. The visit was under the invitation of the Dean of Satara University. During the visit Consul General was brief and had a tour on the facilities at the college.
A meeting between the dean and all officials plus professors was held with Consul General to discuss on further cooperations between the Satara University especially the College of Vet with some of Malaysian university. Existing collaboration between Satara University and University Malaysia (Kelantan) is one of the example quoted by the dean.
At the end of the visit, Consul General had a special meeting with the Malaysian students (10 vet students) to discuss on their welfare and needs during the stay. The meeting lasted for 20 minutes and some of the issued raised was immidiately mentioned to the dean for further action. The visit was very successful.
