HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA HOSTS ASEAN FLAG RAISING CEREMONY ON 8 AUGUST 2025
On 8 August 2025, the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi hosted the ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony in conjunction with the 58th ASEAN Day celebration. The event, held at the High Commission’s compound, was attended by ASEAN Heads of Mission, Deputy Chiefs of Mission, Defence Attachés, and representatives from the ASEAN New Delhi Committee.
We were honoured to welcome Ms. Nabanita Chakraborty, Joint Secretary of the Indo-Pacific Division, Ministry of External Affairs of India, as the special guest representing the Government of India. The ceremony underscored the spirit of unity, friendship, and shared aspirations among ASEAN Member States and with India as a valued partner.
