The 128th Meeting of the ASEAN New Delhi Committee (ANDC) and Handover Ceremony was held on 12 January 2026 at the High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi, followed by an ASEAN Family Luncheon.

The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Dato’ Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, and marked the conclusion of Malaysia’s Chairmanship of the ANDC for the July–December 2025 period. The Meeting took stock of bilateral activities undertaken by ASEAN Member State Missions in New Delhi and reviewed activities and programmes implemented under Malaysia’s Chairmanship of the ANDC.

The Meeting also witnessed the handover of the ANDC Chairmanship from Malaysia to Myanmar, which will assume the Chair for the January–June 2026 term.

Subsequently, an ASEAN Family Luncheon was hosted at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the High Commission, featuring scrumptious dishes prepared by the ladies of Perwakilan New Delhi. The luncheon fostered camaraderie and strengthened friendship and bonds among the ASEAN diplomatic community in New Delhi.
