The Embassy of Malaysia in Tehran is seeking suitable candidates for the following position:





Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform duties that is related with translation and simultaneous interpretation (English to Persian and vice versa).


  • Coordinate initiatives/meetings with Ministries, local authorities and other relevant parties.


  • Organize and prepare written outputs, e.g., draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies.


  • Initiate and coordinate outreach activities; conduct seminars, etc; prepare presentations on assigned topics/activities.


  • Provide assistance to activities related to the administrative works of the Embassy.


  • Research, analyse and present information related to the Embassy’s interest from diverse sources.


  • Prepare content for social media postings.


  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • A minimum requirement of a university degree in Language (English or Persian), translation, International Relations, communication, journalism, public administration or related field.


  • Experience in providing simultaneous translation is highly desirable.


  • Experience in the technical aspects of multimedia presentation is desirable.


  • Experience in drafting and writing reports, news and feature stories for portals.


  • Fluency in English and Persian language is required. Knowledge of another language is an advantage.


  • Experience in International Relations and politics is desirable.


  • Age below 40 years old.
