VISA APPLICATIONS

 

Please visit the Immigration Department of Malaysia website at: https://www.imi.gov.my for more details about other countries that require a visa for entering Malaysia.

 

Applications for visas can be made at the consular section of the Embassy of Malaysia in Tehran with an appointment from Sunday – Thursday / from 8:30 am – 12:00 noon (except for Public Holidays).

 

1.    Iranian Passport Holders

Iranian passport holders who are traveling to Malaysia on their national passports do not require a visa to enter Malaysia for a stay not exceeding 14 days. Those who wish to enter Malaysia for other purposes or for a stay longer than 14 days are required to obtain a visa to enter Malaysia.

 

Application Requirements:

i.              Applications should be made at the Embassy;

ii.             Applications are to be made using Form IM.47(can be obtained at the Embassy); and submitted along with the one (1) photocopy of each of the required documents;

a.                  Original and a copy (bearer details) of the passport with validity of at least more than 6 months from the travel date;

b.                  One passport-sized photograph of the applicant;

c.                  Confirm return flight booking;

d.                  Proof of Accommodation (a hotel or hostel booking reservation, or rental agreement);

e.                  Cash payment of visa fee (IRR200,000);

f.                   A copy of the invitation letter from the applicant’s host (if you have a host)

g.                  Other supporting documents (if any);

(Required Documents for Visitors Whose Applications for Employment, Professional, Student or Dependent Passes Have Been Approved by The Immigration Department of Malaysia or Any Authorised Agency by The Government of Malaysia)

 

2.    Afghan Passport Holders

Afghan passport holders require a visa with Reference to enter Malaysia (the visa will be issued after the application is referred and approved by the Immigration Department of Malaysia). Please visit the Immigration Department of Malaysia website at: https://www.imi.gov.my for more details.

 

The application for Visa with Reference (VDR) also could be done through our embassy here. The applicant need to present the documents at the embassy. The embassy will issue Covering Letter and forward the completed application documents to the Department of Immigration Malaysia. Please find below the procedures / the documents for Visa with Reference for Afghan passport holder;

 

  1. Visa Form IM.47(can be obtained at the Embassy);
  2. Application's passport and copy of biodata and used pages of the passport;
  3. 2 Recent photographs of applicant;
  4. Sponsor's undertaking letter;
  5. Security Bond;
  6. Sponsor’s invitation letter signed by sponsor with sponsor's contact details (address and telephone number);
  7. Sponsor's copy of Malaysia National Registration Identity Card (MyKad);
  8. Sponsor will then be contacted by Immigration Department of Malaysia for interview and payment of security bond.

 

The visa will be issued after the application is referred and approved by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Once approved, kindly be advised to bring the following documents for the visa application:

 

i.     Original and a copy (bearer details) of the passport;

ii.    One passport-sized photograph of the applicant;

iii.   Immigration and relevant approval letters;

iv.   Flight details (if any);

v.    Proof of residence (if any); and

 

vi.   Payment of visa fee (IRR200,000).

 

  • Multiple-entry Visa

 

Multiple Entry Visa is issued to foreigners who require a visa to enter Malaysia mainly for business or government-to-government matters. It is normally valid

for a period of three (3) months to twelve (12) months from the date of issue. The embassy of Malaysia in Tehran does not issue Multiple Entry Visa.

 

درخواست ویزا

دارندگان پاسپورت ایرانی که با پاسپورت خود به مالزی سفر می کنند، برای اقامت کمتر تر از 14 روز نیازی به ویزا ندارند. اما کسانی که قصد ورود به مالزی را برای اهداف دیگر دارند، یا اقامت آن ها بیشتر از 14 روز است، برای ورود به مالزی باید ویزای یک‌بار ورود دریافت کنند.

دارندگان پاسپورت افغانی برای ورود به مالزی نیاز به ویزاي با مرجع(Visa with Reference )دارند. (ویزا پس از ارسال درخواست و تایید اداره مهاجرت مالزی صادر می شود).

درخواست ویزا در بخش کنسولی سفارت مالزی در تهران از یکشنبه تا پنجشنبه / از ساعت 8:30 صبح تا 12:00 ظهر (به استثنای تعطیلات رسمی) با ارائه مدارک زیر قابل انجام است:

  • ویزا یک‌بار ورود

دارندگان پاسپورت ایرانی

لطفاً برای ارسال درخواست ویزا مدارک زیر را  همراه خود به سفارت داشته باشید:

  1. اصل و کپی گذرنامه (با جزئیات کامل) با اعتبار حداقل بیش از 6 ماه.
  2. یک قطعه عکس در اندازه پاسپورت از متقاضی؛
  3. تأیید رزرو پرواز برگشت؛
  4. مدرک محل اقامت (رزرو هتل یا مسافرخانه، یا مدرک قرارداد اجاره)؛
  5. پرداخت نقدی هزینه ویزا (200.000 ریال)؛
  6. اگر دارای دعوت نامه از میزبانی هستید، يك کپی از دعوتنامه با خود به همراه داشته باشيد ؛
  7. کپی کارت شناسایی دعوت كننده متقاضی (در صورت داشتن میزبان/دعوت كننده) و؛
  8. سایر مدارک شناسایی( در صورت وجود)

دارندگان پاسپورت افغانی

لطفاً برای ارسال درخواست ویزا مدارک زیر را  همراه خود به سفارت داشته باشید:

  1. اصل و کپی گذرنامه (با جزئیات کامل).
  2. کارت اقامت موقت اتباع خارجی؛
  3. یک قطعه عکس در اندازه پاسپورت از متقاضی؛
  4. نامه‌ مهاجرت و تاییدئه های مربوطه آن ؛
  5. مشخصات پرواز
  6. مدرک محل اقامت و؛
  7. پرداخت نقدی هزینه ویزا (200.000 ریال).

 

  • ویزای چند بار ورود

ویزای چند بار ورود برای خارجی هایی صادر می شود که برای ورود به مالزی، عمدتاً برای امور تجاری یا دولتی به ویزا نیاز دارند.این ویزا معمولاً برای مدت سه (3) ماه تا دوازده (12) ماه بعد از صدور معتبر است. سفارت مالزی در تهران این ویزا را صادر نمی کند.
