53rd Committee of World Food Security (CFS) at the FAO on 21 October
Dato’ Zahid was a panelist at a Side Event on ‘Digital Public Infrastructure & Digital Solutions in Agriculture’ at the ongoing 53rd Committee of World Food Security (CFS) at the FAO on 21 October. He shared Malaysia’s experience in leveraging digital agriculture technology. He emphasised the importance of policy actions requiring strategic investments - in the technology itself, financing for wider distribution and scaling-up, and on training and empowerment to better optimise use.
The side event was organised by India, and included speakers from the FAO, IFAD, WFP, Estonia, Indonesia, and India itself.
