As part of the ASEAN–Italy Development Partnership, Mr. Mohd Iqbal Bin Mohd Zain from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Malaysia is participating in the “Rosario Livatino” integrity and anti-corruption programme held in Rome from 17 to 21 November 2025. The course, aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in combating corruption and transnational organised crime, is coordinated by the Italian Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the National Anti-Corruption Authority. The programme provides ASEAN law enforcement officials with exposure to Italy’s anti-corruption frameworks, best practices, and international cooperation tools.
Ms. Nidyakala Manian, First Secretary of the Embassy, attended the opening ceremony on 17 November.
