Roundtable discussion was held at the Unione Industriali Napoli (UNI) on trade and investment opportunities in Malaysia
On 29 May 2025, a roundtable discussion was held at the Unione Industriali Napoli (UNI) on trade and investment opportunities in Malaysia. Organised jointly by the Embassy and the UNI, the event included opening remarks by Dato’ Zahid, and presentations on trade by Mr. Ravidran Manogaran, Trade Commissioner, MATRADE Milan, and on investment by Mr. Khairul Azlan Idris, Deputy Director, MIDA Milan.
Mr. Michele Dossi, CEO of Fassi Asia-Pacific, an Italian truck-mounted crane manufacturing company with presence in Malaysia, shared on his company’s experience of expanding into and doing business in Malaysia. Additionally, Dr. Pierluigi Petrone, Vice President of UNI, moderated the event, and Ms Anna Ceppaluni, Honorary Consul of Malaysia In Napoli, provided closing remarks.
Malaysia remains a good partner for Italian companies to continue to trade with and invest, in various sectors, and an excellent gateway into ASEAN and the wider Indo-Pacific region.
