The Embassy was honoured to receive a visit from Mr Paolo Magni, Mrs. Koh Siew Wah, and their daughter Cristina Magni on 31 May 2024. They gifted to the Embassy a sumpit which Mr Magni had received in the Cameron Highlands 40 years ago.
Mr Magni is a pillar of the Italian-Malaysian community, and a committee member of the Association of Malaysians in Italy (AMI). Amb. Zahid and Mr Magni discussed activities to bring together Malaysians in Italy, and Malaysian and Italian culture.
