APPLICATION PROCEDURES TO ENTER AND EXIT MALAYSIA
- Please be informed that for entry and exit approvals, applicants are required apply online at My Travel Pass https://mtp.imi.gov.my/myTravelPass/main
- Once the applicants have obtained the approval to enter Malaysia from the Department of Immigration, applicants are required to submit to the Malaysian Embassy, a copy of the passport, flight itinerary, the document for approval to travel and the completed Letter of Undertaking (LoU) document via email at mwrome@kln.gov.my . For those without visa/ new application, please send an email to the Embassy to request for a visa appointment.
- Once the completed documents has been verified, the Malaysian Embassy will issue the applicants a letter of Permission to Travel in three (3) working days.
- For non-Malaysians with the approval and letter of permission to travel, applicants are kindly requested to make payments for the COVID-19 test and quarantine cost prior to arriving in Malaysia. Applicants may wish to access the MySafeTravel / MyQr by MyEG system. More information on this can be found at www.moh.gov.my or www.nadma.gov.my or www.myeg.com.my. For Malaysians, are encouraged to do so, as well.
- For Malaysians with approval to exit Malaysia and wish to travel to Italy, please inform the Embassy via email at mwrome@kln.gov.my, and register with the Embassy on the presence in Italy.
