31 Malaysian students, ranging in age from 6 -19 years old, and from various schools all over Malaysia, participated in the World Finals of the Hippo English Language Olympiad Competition held in Assisi. Malaysian students won medals in 7 out of the 10 categories of the competition. These students were chosen from among 88,000 students from 60 countries who participated this year.
Mr. Ahmad Fuad, Minister Counsellor, represented the Embassy at this event on 25 September 2024. He met and interacted with the Malaysian team, which comprised of the students, their parents and their coordinator.
The Embassy congratulates all the Malaysian students for participating and advancing this far into the competition, and to all the medal winner in their respective categories.
