QUARANTINE CHARGES FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS ENTERING MALAYSIA BEGINNING 24 SEPTEMBER 2020
On 18 September 2020, the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) decided that, effective 24 September 2020, foreign nationals including Malaysian Permanent Residents will be required to pay the full cost for quarantine that costs RM 4,700. The collection of the full quarantine cost will be done by the Ministry of Health Malaysia at all the entry points. Individuals will be issued a receipt which is needed for the check-in process at designated quarantine stations. Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) and Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) pass holders as well as individuals who are allowed to undergo home quarantine are exempted from these quarantine charges.
The charges for foreign nationals are as follows:
