329th ACT Meeting
HE Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, attended the 329th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT), which was chaired by H.E. Mylene J. Garcia-Albano, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Japan.
The meeting touched on recent developments in Japan and within ASEAN, and also exchanged views on upcoming ACT programmes and activities.
The Committee also had the pleasure of welcoming several guest speakers, namely Dr. HAYASHI Reiko, Director-General of the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research of Japan; Mr. MIYAMOTO Shingo, Director-General of the Southeast and Southwest Asia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan; as well as Ms. KUGA Yuriko, Director of the Consular Policy Division, Consular Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
