29 July 2025 – Mr. Anwar Udzir, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan, received a courtesy visit from Mr. Sheikh Fahmy bin Sheikh Mohamed, Vice President (Group Strategy) of UCSI Group.

During the meeting, Mr. Sheikh Fahmy shared UCSI’s strategic vision and ongoing initiatives to enhance its global presence, including its efforts to foster international collaborations in higher education, research, and talent development. He also highlighted UCSI’s interest in expanding partnerships with Japanese institutions and exploring potential areas of cooperation in education, technology, and innovation.

Mr. Anwar welcomed the initiative and expressed the Embassy’s support for strengthening Malaysia-Japan academic and institutional linkages. Both sides agreed on the importance of continued engagement to promote Malaysia as a regional education hub and to foster mutual understanding through academic and cultural exchange.
