The Embassy was pleased to host a delegation of junior high schools students, university students, and staff members, organised by the Fujioka Regional UNESCO Association in Gunma Prefecture under its “International Understanding Bus” project. The visit provided an interactive platform for participants to explore Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, historical evolution, and socio-economic harmony. In addition to discovering major cultural and tourist landmarks, the participants were introduced to the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign and engaged in a foundational Bahasa Melayu language session. This programme underscores the Embassy’s ongoing commitment to fostering robust bilateral youth exchanges and deepening cultural awareness within the local Japanese community.
