Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, supported by Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation and the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo, organised Malaysia’s participation in SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026. A Malaysian pavilion featuring 12 Malaysian start-up companies was established during the event, providing a platform for the companies to engage with potential collaborators and investors.
Malaysia’s participation underscores the country’s commitment to advancing the Malaysia Digital initiative and expanding its global digital footprint through programmes such as the Digital Exports (DEX) initiative. It also reflects Malaysia’s continued emphasis on fostering start-up development and innovation. This second consecutive participation demonstrates growing interest and further strengthens Malaysia–Japan collaboration in the digital economy sector.
