CHINESE NEW YEAR 2026 CELEBRATION HOSTED BY THE MALAYSIAN BUSINESS CHAMBER IN CAMBODIA (MBCC)



 
28 February 2026 – His Excellency Shaharuddin Onn, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia attended the Chinese New Year 2026 Celebration hosted by the Malaysian Business Chamber in Cambodia (MBCC) in Phnom Penh to mark the Year of the Horse.
During his remarks, His Excellency highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to inclusivity and community engagement. He also encouraged Malaysians in Cambodia to register with the Embassy to facilitate communication during and urged them to continue playing an active role in strengthening community ties in Cambodia.
The evening featured traditional festivities, including a lion and dragon dance performances, the Yee Sang prosperity toss and a karaoke session.
