On 20 December 2024, Mr. Yong-Seung Chang, the Head of the International Desk at Maeil Newspapers paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato' Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea. The meeting entailed a fruitful discussion about plans to prominently feature ASEAN within the Korean community as Malaysia prepares to assume the ASEAN chairmanship in 2025, emphasising the importance of raising ASEAN's profile concerning its goals and vision.
