His Excellency Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), hosted a dinner in honour of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to the ROK on 23 June 2026 at the picturesque Green Garden (Nokjiwon) within the historic grounds of the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae). The event brought together more than 150 representatives from the diplomatic corps and international organisations, providing a valuable platform for informal exchanges and reaffirming the ROK Government's commitment to engaging the diplomatic community. The Embassy of Malaysia was represented by its Chargé d'Affaires a.i., who joined fellow members of the diplomatic corps in the reception hosted by President Lee.
The dinner served as an important platform for the President to engage members of the diplomatic community in an informal setting while reaffirming the ROK Government's commitment to maintaining close dialogue and cooperation with its international partners. It also provided an opportunity for diplomats to interact with senior officials of the new administration and fellow members of the diplomatic corps, thereby fostering greater mutual understanding and strengthening diplomatic goodwill.
