Courtesy Call by the General Manager of International Sales and Export Division of PROTON, 25 January 2013
On 25 January 2013, His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN received a courtesy call from General Manager of International Sales and Export Division of PROTON, Dr. Badrul Hisham bin Mohd Ghazali and delegation. The PROTON delegation was in Beirut for 2-day working visit to discuss about the preparation for opening a new PROTON showroom in Beirut.
The meeting was also attended by Honorary Consul General of Malaysia, Datuk Omar Jundi, Mr. Ghyath Al Habbal who holds distributorship rights of Proton cars in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan and Mr. Hani Al-Yamak who operates a PROTON showroom in Tripoli.
During the meeting, HE Ambassador welcomed PROTON’s decision. Both Ambassador and Dr. Badrul Hisham also exchanged views on the possible strategies to promote PROTON cars in Lebanon.
