COURTESY CALL ON FORMER PRIME MINISTER OF LEBANON
His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN paid a farewell call on His Excellency Najib Mikati, former Prime Minister of Lebanon at the latter’s office in Beirut on Wednesday, 28 May 2014.
The discussion between the two sides touched on various issues including bilateral relations, the security situation in Lebanon and the economic impact of the Syrian crisis to Lebanon. Both sides expressed satisfaction at the excellent state of relations and agreed on the need to further strengthen the relations particularly on economic relations. The former Prime Minister expressed hope that Malaysia would be able to share and exchange its expertise and know-how on the ICT sector.
