 Dinner with Army Field Commander at the Embassy, 9 July 2012

 

On 9 July 2012 His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN hosted a dinner in honor of Lieutenant General Dato’ Zulkiple Hj. Kassim, Army Field Commander (Panglima Medan Tentera Darat) at the Embassy in Beirut. Dato’ Zulkiple Hj. Kassim and delegation are currently in Beirut in conjunction with the transfer of authority from MALCOY EAST 7 to MALCOY EAST 8. 

 

The dinner was also served to bid farewell to Lt. Col. Hashim Mat who has completed his one-year duty as Commander of MALCOY EAST 7. He will be replaced by Lt. Col. Hamdan Ali as Commander of MALCOY EAST 8. Ambassador praised Lt. Col. Hashim for his contribution and excellent relation with the Embassy. 

 

The dinner was attended by several Malaysian troops from MALBATT, MALCOY and Embassy staff. All the attendees were served with various Malaysian dishes and delicacies.
