Dinner with Chief of Staff at the Embassy, 29 October 2012

 

On 29 October 2012 His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN hosted a dinner in honor of Lieutenant General Datuk Raja Mohamed Affandi Bin Raja Mohamed Noor, Chief of Staff (Ketua Staff Markas ATM) at the Embassy in Beirut. Datuk Raja Mohamed Affandi and delegation were in Beirut in conjunction with the transfer of authority from MALBATT 4 to MALBATT 5. 

 

The dinner was also served to bid farewell to Col. Badrul Hisham Muhammad who has completed his one-year duty as Commander of MALBATT 4. He will be replaced by Col. Zainal Abidin M. Said as Commander of MALBATT 5. Ambassador praised Col. Badrul Hisham Muhammad for his contribution and excellent relation with the Embassy. 

 

The dinner was also attended by several Malaysians residing in Lebanon as well as Malaysian troops from MALBATT and MALCOY. All the attendees were served with various Malaysian dishes and delicacies.
