Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon's visit to Marakah Camp
Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, led by Ambassador Dato’ Azri visited Marakah Camp for an engagement session with the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-12 led by Colonel Johan Effendi Mohd Salleh. The session served to strengthen ties between the Embassy and Malaysian peacekeepers, and to reaffirm Malaysia’s unwavering commitment to international peacekeeping operations.
In his remarks, Ambassador Dato’ Azri conveyed his sincere appreciation to the members of MALBATT 850-12 for their professionalism, discipline, and dedication in fulfilling their mandate. He also extended his gratitude for their continued support and close cooperation with the Embassy throughout his four-year tenure in Lebanon, contributing significantly to Malaysia’s role and standing within UNIFIL.
