KHOM-Karisma Humanitarian Outreach Mission, led by Mrs Nik Marina Datuk Hussin, paid a Courtesy Visit on Mr  Johan Arief, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, as part of their humanitarian mission in Lebanon.

On 22 February, Mr Johan Arief joined the KHOM Malaysia delegation in distributing food aid boxes to Palestinian refugee families at Bourj el-Barajneh Camp in Beirut. 

In the spirit of Ramadan, the boxes also included dates, white flour, and traditional halwa, items that bring comfort and hope to families observing the holy month in challenging conditions. 
The humanitarian efforts continued on 23 February with Phase 2 of the food box distribution for Palestinian Nakba survivors at Ain al-Hilweh Camp in southern Lebanon. The delegation also shared iftar with Palestinian orphans in Sidon, a meaningful moment that reflected the true spirit of Ramadan: compassion, generosity, and solidarity with those facing hardship.

These initiatives serve as a testament to Malaysia’s enduring solidarity with Palestinian refugees, offering comfort, hope, and a sense of home during the holy month of Ramadan.
